ABOUT DJ KILL ME
Ekene Ofonze, professionally known as DJ Kill Me, is a Nigerian-born multi-talented artist currently based in Germany.
A versatile DJ, performing artist, record producer, and mix & master engineer, DJ Kill Me’s journey into music began at the tender age of 8 when he started playing the piano. By 2012, he adopted the stage name NFK and began releasing music professionally. His fans later christened him DJ Kill Me for consistently delivering “killer vibes” through his music.
Despite early financial challenges during university, DJ Kill Me’s passion for music never wavered. Being an autodidact creative, he delved into DJing, music production, and audio engineering in 2015 by studying numerous DJ mixtapes. In 2022, he formalized his skills at Vibra Music School in Germany, mastering DJing, music production, and mixing & mastering professionally.
In 2023, DJ Kill Me made a powerful debut with his single Ribena, featuring popular Nigerian artist Sugarboy. The record did amazingly well, amassing over a million streams within six months of its release and winning an award at the Cool Wealth Awards 7.0.
Drawing inspiration from genres like Amapiano, dancehall, and Afrobeats, DJ Kill Me continues to push creative boundaries. His signature sound is beautifully showcased in this project, The Cruise Theorem is a testament to his evolving artistry and passion for music.
