Born Kelvin Opoku Tutu, the young rising Ghanaian artiste, who hails from Accra in the Greater Accra Region has been making steady waves among his generation in the music scene. He has unfailingly registered his strong mark in proving how vested he is in his chosen line of music. He dabbled into music in his late high school years and for the past two years the music industry has started seeing a lot of him.
Still growing in his craft, Kelvin has amassed a core fan base on his journey and this reflects in his numbers. The football loving artiste has just completed the University of Ghana with a bachelors Degree in Arts and Education and looks forward to bless the world with more music.
Taking inspiration from mainly Kojo Antwi, Falz The Bhad Guy and Mr. Eazi. Kelvin Tutu’s music is a fusion of Highlife and Afrobeats. So far, he has three singles to his name; “Party” released in 2021, “SA”(Dance) and the last one titled “Fakye” which has drawn a lot of attention from industry players and fellow musicians as well.
He featured on the “Over” Single by Kweku Pee in the same year he released Fakye; 2022. Fakye has been the favourite for most Tik tokkers and social media influencers and has attracted over twenty-five thousand(25,000) plays across all streaming platforms With a total of only three songs in his relatively young career, Kelvin Tutu has garnered quite the impressive buzz with over 59,000+ streams from a limited release on the DSPs.
