Spice is a sprawling ode to beauty. Soft and sweet, the sound celebrates Dama’s muse. Music accentuates beauty on this record and Kvng Dama is completely enthralled by the object of his affection. Lagabaja is a more introspective number. Kvng Dama takes an excursion into the human condition, questioning the concepts of time, love, and the pursuit of happiness. Mostly delivered in his preferred local Yorubà, Lagbaja is nostalgic and powerful.

Born Adekunle Damilola Ajiwe, Kvng Dama is a special talent whose prowess in music composition, and songwriting promises him a solid place in the vanguard of Afrobeat’s emerging voices. Nigerian-born, the 26 years old is versatile, inspired, and particularly endearing with his indigenous leanings.
